Wine, Jazz & World Fete

Where: Guthrie Green, Tulsa

What: If you love jazz, wine, and a good time, you will want to be at Guthrie Green for this event! Come and hear some of the greatest jazz, reggae and folk artists in the world, enjoy fine wines & wine tastings, a Latin food fair, family activities & more. Bixby Outreach Center’s Blue Jeans Ball

When: Cancelled

Where: The Lark Venue, Bixby

What:  Put on your cowboy boots and come out on Saturday, October 3rd for the 8th Annual Blue Jeans Ball which will be benefiting the Bixby Outreach Center. This year, we will be shifting to a hybrid event with limited in-person seating and a virtual party-in-place option. However you attend, you can still experience incredible entertainment by Travis Kidd Band, amazing local food by 1907 BBQ, an exciting live and silent auction, and much more. And as we come together to party for a cause, the Bixby Outreach Center will continue to help provide food and resources to those in our community that have experienced hardships. Tulsa Walk to Defeat ALS

Where: Oklahoma Aquarium, Jenks

What: Walking for a cause is an amazing way to show your support, and the Tulsa Walk to Defeat ALS is a great event to join. Come to the Oklahoma Aquarium for this opportunity to bring hope to people with ALS in Oklahoma, to raise money for a cure, and to join together to fight for something we care about. 42nd Annual Brush Creek Bazaar

When: October 10, 2020 – October 11, 2020

Where: 10900 S. Louisville, Tulsa

What: The Brush Creek Bazaar is an annual Tulsa event that guarantees a good time in the Brush Creek area. This two day event is a grand opportunity to enjoy shopping, entertainment and carnival activities with the entire family. The outdoor festival features exhibits from wood and metal craftsmen as well as vendor booths with everything from decor and soap to candles and clothing. Browse many rows of craft supplies and locally-made art from unique and exceptional artists while your children play in the kid zone. Your kids will love every minute of pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting and a swan pond. After you are done shopping, you can enjoy some live music and fair food. Tulsa Opera Presents: Rigoletto

When: October 9, 2020

Where: ONEOK Field, Tulsa

What: Join the Tulsa Opera at the ONEOK Field for a unique opening to the 2020-2021 season with the production of “Rigoletto.” This performance will be outdoors in a semi-staged, baseball-themed production directed by James Robinson at local baseball stadium ONEOK Field. Originally debuted in 1851, “Rigoletto” is an opera in three acts by the legendary Giuseppe Verdi. Tulsa Opera’s “Rigoletto” has been reimagined for the ballpark in order to accommodate a larger audience—2,700 socially distanced at the park, compared to 2,365 non-distanced at Tulsa PAC—and in safer, open-air conditions with rigorous health protocols in place. Cool Grilles 3rd Annual Car Show

Where: Rose District, Broken Arrow

What: You are invited to come to the beautiful Rose District in Broken Arrow to experience Cool Grilles 3rd Annual Car Show. Trucktoberfest

What: Are you crazy about food trucks? Be sure not to miss out on Trucktoberfest at Gathering Place, which will be presented by Bob Hurley RV! US National Arabian & Half-Arabian Championship Horse Show

When: October 23, 2020 – October 31, 2020

Where: Tulsa Expo Square, Tulsa

What: There’s rarely anything as beautiful as an Arabian horse, and now you have a great opportunity to see these amazing animals! The Us National Arabian & Half-Arabian Championship Horse Show is the most prestigious Arabian horse show in North America, and it is held annually right here, at the Tulsa Expo Square. This unique show spans over a nine day period, and will display over 1,800 Arabian, Half-Arabian and Anglo-Arabian horses. Tulsa In Harmony

What: There is nothing quite as special as the feeling of community these days, and events that are centered around that are something you don’t want to miss out on! Tulsa in Harmony is an annual gathering of Gospel recording artists and choirs. HallowZOOeen

What: Are you looking for a fun and family friendly event for Halloween? Tulsa Zoo’s HallowZOOeen is the perfect solution! Come out with the family to enjoy a safe time of trick-or-treating, games, a hay maze, pumpkin decorating, a dance party, and much more! Sweets & Treats on Spooky Street

What: Fun Halloween events that aren’t too scary for little ones can be hard to find, but Gathering Place in Tulsa has it covered for you! Sweets & Treats on Spooky Street is a two day event, where Chapman Adventure Playground will transform into an amazing Halloween scene for two nights full of non-frightful, free festivities. Tulsa Ballet Presents: Vendetta, A Mafia Story

When: October 30, 2020 – November 1, 2020

Where: Tulsa Performing Arts Center, Tulsa

What: Tulsa Ballet’s performance of Vendetta is a combination of drama and modern dance that will leave you breathless. This ballet, which is choreographed by Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, tells a beautiful story using ideas from film, broadway, and ballet. This show runs four times, and is one you don’t want to miss!

 

Tulsa Run Virtual 15K

When: October 31, 2020

Where: Online Only!

What: Just because this year hasn’t gone as planned, doesn’t mean we can’t try to keep traditions going! The annual Tulsa Run has been taking place since 1978, and although the event can’t be held in it’s usual form, a wonderful virtual version is taking place! This 15k virtual race will still include a great swag bag for all participants, and those involved will use an app to track their participation. For more details, go here.
