Cinco de Mayo Fest at River West Festival Park
When: May 1, 2020 – May 3, 2020
Where: River West Festival Park, Tulsa
What: Come out to River West Festival Park for an entire weekend filled with Cinco de Mayo fun! This event is family friendly, and runs from Friday afternoon through Sunday night. There will be amazing Mexican food, live music, and a 5k. The kids can enjoy carnival rides, arts and crafts, and more!
Germanfest
When: May 1, 2020 – May 3, 2020
Where: 1429 Terrace Drive, Tulsa
What: Are you interested in German culture, or showing it to your children? Downtown Tulsa’s Germanfest is an event filled with polka music, folk dancers, and German cuisine. There will also be designated kids activities, and the crowning of the May Queen.
Mirror Mirror Gala
When: May 1, 2020
Where: Doubletree Hotel at Warren Place, Tulsa
What: This unforgettable event in Tulsa is sports themed this year, so come out in your favorite sports jersey! Enjoy a wonderful time with food, live music and an auction. The proceeds will go to after-school and summer enrichment programs for Tulsa youth. What a great way to support our future!
Tulsa Area Iris Show
When: May 2, 2020 – May 3, 2020
Where: Tulsa Garden Center, Tulsa
What: The Tulsa Area Iris Show is a time to show off the beauty of irises in an amazing variety of colors. Members of the Tulsa Area Iris Society will be on site to help visitors with tips and ideas for growing breathtaking irises at their home. Many iris plants will be available for purchase during the weekend long event.
Third Annual Brews for Rescues
When: May 6, 2020
Where: Dead Armadillo Craft Brewing
What: The Brews for Rescues event is an amazing benefit for the Animal Rescue Foundation Tulsa. The cost of the ticket is $40 and includes 2 pints of craft beer, a souvenir Dead Armadillo pint glass, and food. There will be live music by Gear Dogz, and a silent auction to enjoy. Adoptable dogs will be available onsite!
Tulsa Festival of Kites

Where: Tulsa Wind Riders, Tulsa
What: No matter what your age is, the sight of a colorful kite flying in the air is so pretty! The Tulsa Festival of Kites is an event hosted by the Tulsa Wind Riders, to share their love and knowledge of kites. Come out, and learn new skills and tricks. You can bring your own kite or purchase a new one there!
Second Saturday Architecture Tour

What: If you are amazed by architecture, you will enjoy attending the Second Saturday Architecture Tour! This is a walking tour filled with educational opportunities, and is hosted by the Tulsa Foundation for Architecture. The tour lasts about an hour and a half, and features some of the greatest architecture in downtown Tulsa. You are guaranteed to learn something new!
Mother’s Day Brunch at Tulsa’s Designer Showcase

What: If you are looking for a special way to celebrate a mom, treat her to brunch at the Mother’s Day Brunch at Tulsa’s Designer Showcase! Tulsa 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament

Cop Land Classic Bike Ride

What: The Cop Land Classic Bike Ride is such a special way to honor fallen officers in Tulsa. No matter what your riding skill level, you can choose between five Cop Land Classic bike ride routes. You can choose to ride the “67 to Life”, “Escape Route 57”, “Deferred Sentence 44”, “The Felony 31” and “Misdemeanor 15.” Feel free to choose whichever one fits you best! If you don’t have a desire to ride a bike but still want to show your support, you can purchase the Cop Land Classic Bike Ride shirt.

Quilt Tulsa 2020

What: Quilt Tulsa 2020 is a great opportunity to see how beautiful and complex quilts truly are. As Oklahoma’s largest judged quilt show, you have the opportunity to see over 300 unique and quilts that were made with various designs and techniques. You can also bring your own quilt to Central Park Hall at the Tulsa Expo Square to have it appraised by a professional quilt appraiser or participate in the small quilt auction, held both Friday and Saturday.
