Taste of the City Cooking Show

Tulsa Ballet Presents: Peter & the Wolf

What: If you are looking for a fun event for the entire family to enjoy, Peter and the Wolf is an amazing dance production. The Tulsa Ballet stays true to this classic tale, and brings it to life with beautiful dancing and magical costumes. This ballet performance was created with children in mind, so it is a 45 minute show.
Wanenmacher’s Tulsa Arms Show

The Color Run

What: The Color Run is one of the most exciting and memorable runs around! Began the day with fun music, dancing, stretching and giveaways. Then, race toward the 5K finish lane, as you get blasted with a rainbow of powdered colors. The Color Run 2020 Dream World Tour has an all-new Cloud Foam Zone on course, inspirational Dream Wall and giant unicorns.
Chamber Music Tulsa Presents: Miro Quartet

Where: Tulsa Performing Arts Center – Tulsa, Oklahoma
What: The Miró Quartet plays at Tulsa PAC for two special performances mixing contemporary compositions and classics in April. Come and listen to works by Kevin Puts and Beethoven on April 4, and Schubet and Haydn on April 5.
Celebrity Attractions Presents: Anastasia

What: This beautiful show, based off of the famous movie, will take you to the 1920s as a young woman works to discover the mystery of her past. This beautiful journey will be brought to life by the amazing actors at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center, and is sure to be memorable!
Oil Can Classic
When: April 9, 2020 – April 11, 2020
Where: Tulsa Expo Square – Tulsa, Oklahoma
What: Come out to the Oil Can Classic and see both cowboys and cowgirls compete in a variety of exciting events. This event is sanctioned by the American Quarter Horse Association, and will be filled with competitions in roping, reining, show halter, ranch horse pleasure, and barrel racing.
Tulsa Project Theatre Presents: Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
When: April 10, 2020 – April 19, 2020
Where: Tulsa Performing Arts Center – Tulsa, Oklahoma
What: Bring the entire family to enjoy an unforgettable performance of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.” Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice reimagine the Biblical story of Joseph, his father Jacob, his 11 brothers and the coat of many colors. This classic musical is full of beautiful songs in a variety of styles, and amazing acting.
Springfest at Woodward Park

Where: Tulsa Garden Center – Tulsa, Oklahoma
What: Do you enjoy all things that involve gardening? If so, make sure to attend Springfest at Woodward Park. This annual event is held at the Tulsa Garden Center Mansion, and is sure to help inspire you to create the best garden you can. There will be plants and flowers available for purchase, as well as a fun area for kids and food vendors.
OK Roots Global Bash

What: The OK Roots Global Bash is an amazing music festival that is comprised of both local and global music. Besides the fabulous music, there will be craft beer and food from Lucky’s on the Green and other vendors. There will be a fun area for families to explore, and plenty of booths to browse.
Junior Botball Challenge
When: April 11, 2020
Where: Tulsa Expo Square – Tulsa, Oklahoma
What: The MCN Junior Botball Challenge is an event for elementary and middle school aged students to compete to win. Come and cheer on these young gifts as they battle with their bots, which were designed from a combination of computer programming systems, engineering skills and reusable components. This is such a fun and unique experience!
Tulsa Auto Show
When: April 17, 2020 – April 19, 2020
Where: Tulsa Expo Square – Tulsa, Oklahoma
What: Are you anxious for a look at the newest vehicles being designed? Come to the Tulsa Auto Show, and allow yourself to be mesmerized by hundreds of new, technological vehicles. These high performance vehicles are designed by more that 25 different car makes. There will be around 600 new models, dozens of pre-production models, plus other prototype and concept vehicles.
Habit Mural Festival

What: During the Habit Mural Festival, over 20 artists come together and work to create new murals all around. These amazing pieces of art will be completed in two days, and will be showcased in some of Tulsa’s most amazing art district.
Northeast Oklahoma Autocross

Where: Tulsa Expo Square – Tulsa, Oklahoma
What: Come to the Northeast Oklahoma Autocross and cheer on cars as the maneuver obstacles and race to finish the course before time runs out. This fun event at the Fairmeadows racetrack is one for all ages to enjoy!
Kendall Whittier Art Festival

Where: Kendall Whittier District – Tulsa, Oklahoma
What: The Kendall Whittier Art Festival, which is held within the Kendall Whittier District, is a great outdoor event. The district will be transformed into a land filled with amazing art, shops, live music, and even food trucks! There will be an area for kids to play, and a fun chalk art section!
Tulsa Symphony Presents: Classic Concert Series
When: April 18, 2020
Where: Tulsa Performing Arts Center – Tulsa, Oklahoma
What: This phenomenal concert series is a must see! On April 18, the Classics Series continues with principal guest conductor Daniel Hege as he leads the orchestra through a program featuring Beethoven’s “Creatures of Prometheus Overture” and Bloch’s “Suite for Viola and Orchestra” featuring principal violist Jeff Cowen. The evening is highlighted with Brahms’ regal “Symphony No. 1.”
Philbrook Wine Experience

What: If you consider yourself a wine enthusiast, the Philbrook Wine Experience is an event you must attend! Oklahoma Buckskin Bloomin’ Blowout Show

What: See Buckskin horses compete in the adventurous Oklahoma Buckskin Bloomin’ Blowout Show. Come to the Ranger Arena at Tulsa Expo Square to see a variety of challenges, from the Walk Trot Buckle Challenge to the Snaffle Bit Futurity. The Bloomin’ Blowout Show also features an Easter Eggstravaganza element, complete with youth and adult Easter egg hunts, an Egg & Spoon contest and a Ride a Buck contest.

By Your Side 5K & Fun Run

What: The By Your Side 5K & Fun Run is a great opportunity to bring your best furry friend to come and run with you! This family-friendly and USATF-sanctioned running event is great for runners of all ages. You and your canines are invited to participate in a costume contest for dogs and dog owners, where participants will win exciting prizes. Each dog will receive participation medals. Wheelchair and stroller racers are welcome and encouraged. Come early to enjoy live music, snacks and vendors.
